Shavini Fernando competed in the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition hosted by the TiE DC chapter on September 1, 2021.
The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. TiE Global is a nonprofit venture devoted to entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages, from incubation, throughout the entrepreneurial lifecycle. With a global reach and a local focus, the heart of TiE efforts lies in its five foundational programs, – Mentoring, Networking, Education, Funding, and Incubation.
We are excited to announce that Ms. Fernando won the TiE DC chapter’s pitch competition, and she will be virtually pitching at the TiE Global competition which will be held in mid-October in Dubai. A representative of the OxiWear will travel to Dubai to attend the conference in-person on her behalf.
