OxiWear received its utility and design patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The patent numbers assigned to the product are US-D916291S and US-10987067B2.

OxiWear received its patent approval on April 27, 2021. The process was facilitated with the assistance of Cooley, LLC.
